Seed Saving for the Future
Imagine what it would be like to NEVER have to visit a store to purchase seeds again. This can be done and YOU can do it. Seed saving is an old time skill that is necessary to our survival, quite literally. If you learn how, you’ll harvest a few rewards.
The benefits of seed saving include, but are definitely not limited to;
1) never having to buy seeds again
2) passing on your seeds as an heirloom to future generations
3) learning this skill is a great sense and feeling of accomplishment and empowerment
4) by saving seeds growing in your area, each year those seeds will grow better and be better producers as they get more acclimated to your particular environment.
Someone has to save seeds, it might as well be you.
